For this project, Alexis PERROCHEAU, current partner at TELLU, was the project manager at EMF. He followed all the phases: competition, APS, APD, PRO, DCE and ACT. Marti FRANCH, director of EMF, also followed this project with Alexis.
The typical dune landscape of the Landes coast is reinterpreted within the project. Indeed, the microtopography that emerges through the northern courtyard, the central courtyard and the southern garden multiplies experiences, points of view and perceptions in these restricted spaces. Moreover, this leveling allows for better permeability of the soils by creating buffer spaces in case of heavy precipitation. The vegetation contrasts with the regularity of the architecture and promotes its integration into the surrounding landscape. The plant palette consists of rustic species found in dune ecosystems and gives children the opportunity to have fun in a privileged and secure context.
